Lauren Rottet was recognized as The Houston Design Center’s Leader in Design and was honored at the Winter Design Sip & Stroll last Wednesday and the Houston office of Rottet Studio accepted on her behalf. Thanks to The Houston Design Center and Audi Central Houston for a great event!
A recent Crain's New York article highlighted the reopening of the Loews Regency Hotel in New York after its Rottet Studio interior makeover amounting to $100M."The Park Avenue property, owned by Jonathan Tisch, has been closed for a $100 million year-long renovation. The Regency, a power breakfast spot, wants to be a contender for lunch, dinner and drinks, too, to attract younger guests. Its reopening this week will unveil a new restaurant, bar, meeting spaces and lobby, and its 379 revamped rooms will cost up to 25% more than a year ago."Read the rest of the article here.
The results are in! The Interior Design 2013 Best of Year Awards took place last night, and Rottet Studio dominated two categories! Our James Royal Palm won Best Domestic Hotel, while United Talent Agency secured the title for Best Large Media Office. Florida Cookery was featured in Retail Design Blog. The post includes a description of the Rottet Studio-designed interior along with several images."The design intent for the Florida Cookery was to create a nautical theme with the beach being the main focal point. The wood table tops were designed with white diagonal patterns to reference the theme of sail boats which are abundant on the ocean horizon views through the windows of the restaurant."Click here to see the post!
